We invite you to join our church family as we memorize these Scriptural promises and commands.
The purpose of this discipline is primarily to help us remember what God has said, and where to find it in the Bible. Please take the time to read the entire verse and more importantly, to obey it! The Holy Spirit will help us.
Promise
This commandment is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach
Command
If I regard wickedness in my heart, the Lord will not hear
Promise
Not one of the good promises which the Lord made failed; all came to pass
Command
Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God

A man's pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor

Worship the Lord with the beauty of holy lives (TLB)

Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will run and not get tired

Turn to my rebuke, I will pour out my Spirit on you, I will make my words known to you

I alone, am the one who wipes out your wrongdoings for My own sake

Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates

Even to your old age I will be the same, and even to your graying years I will carry you

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust is the Lord

Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people

The Lord GOD is my strength, and He has made my feet like hinds' feet

In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength

I will save you that you may become a blessing; do not fear, let your hands be strong

Give, and it will be given to you; they will pour into your lap a good measure

He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers

Repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor

The eye is the lamp of the body; so if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light

We forgive so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan

All things are possible to the one who believes

Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another

I know My own and My own know Me, even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; whatever a man sows he will also reap

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses

Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called

Through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things from which you could not be freed
Command
They are enemies of the cross of Christ who set their minds on earthly things

He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit
Command
Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth

The Kingdom of God is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men

Just as we have borne the image of the earthly, we will also bear the image of the heavenly

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity

He sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge

The goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith

If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; new things have come

Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus

You receive the Spirit by hearing with faith

Let us be diligent to enter that rest

Honor your father and mother so that it may be well with you

Do not be sluggish but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises

My earnest expectation is that Christ will always be exalted in my body

Prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves

God has provided something better for us

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another
